28 May 2020 Tim went to his cousin's home last Saturday. The boys had a whale of time of playing video games so they burnt the midnight oil. Next day, bad luck approached silently. Tim had a sore throat and a fever . He was sweating rapidly and lying in his bed all day. It was the rehearsal for the drama on Monday, so he bit the bullet and went to the school. At the rehearsal, Tim was wearing a mask and had a hoarse voice. Also he had a few cough during the rehearsal. The teacher was dissatisfied with Tim so he asked Tim to go to the corridor beside of the hall. Tim was nervous about what's going to happen. The teacher said in a voice like a furious lion "You have ruined the rehearsal!" Tim told him about what happened at Sunday. 24 May 2020 Last Monday, my mother took me to the School Dental Clinic for my dental check up and teeth scaling. I was terrified. Worst of all I did not have a good sleep the whole night through. At ten o'clock, we arrived at the clinic just in time . Then, we registered at the counter. The staff told me to sit in the waiting zone. Later, the announcement system called my name and told me to go into the first room. When I saw the dental therapist, a sense of horror crept up to my face. I was ushered to the dental therapist's chair. Normally I would run away from the frightening surgery with all its horrible drills and pliers, but I did not. I had to get the check up and teeth scaling. So I sat down on the reclining chair while the dental therapist kept saying some reassuring words. I relaxed somewhat. She asked me to open my mouth. I did so. She started to check up my teeth. After a few minutes, the dental therapist started to scaling the teeth, I felt that the water

19 May 2020 "How dare you!" hollered Jack as he clenched his fist and punched Ken on his cheek, causing him to stagger backwards from the impact. I watched in horror when I saw the look of surprise on Ken's face morph into a furious glare. He was undaunted by Ben's actions. Retaliating with a punch of his own, he hit Ben squarely on his eye. Immediately, Ben covered his eye and bent over in pain. Dissatisfied with the result, Ken raised his right foot and kicked Ben's stomach with all his might. Reflexively, I stepped between both of them and tried to push Ken away. However, he was too strong for me. Shoving me aside, he advanced towards Ben and raised his fist in front of his face, threatening to hit him again. Without hesitation, I helped Ben to his feet and tried to drag him away but Ben was not to be defeated by someone who was smaller-sized than he was. Ignoring me, he lunged at Ken, engaging him. 15 May 2020 Black clouds gathered above us, but we were too intent on going to fishing. We hoped that the clouds would go away so that we could continue fishing. Our hopes were dashed when suddenly heavy rain began to pour. In a few seconds we were all soaked to the skin. To make matters worst, lightning flashed dangerously close to us. The deafening thunder and howling wind did not help either. We ran towards a large tree under which we had parked our bicycles. The tree provided some shelter from the rain and we were tempted to remain under it. However we knew that it was dangerous to stay under a tree during a thunderstorm. So we got on our bicycles and pedalled off. There was no other shelter available nearby. So I, for one, decided to go home. Since I was already completely wet, I might was well to go home instead to seeking shelter. On the way back home, the driving rain made cycling difficult as I could not see more that a couple of metres in front of me. Accidentally,

12 May 2020 "Faster, faster. " I mumbled. I could not keep my mouth shut as excitement rush through my veins.  My parents were bringing me on a trip to Ocean Park! The journey there seemed to take ages. Ultimately, we arrived at our destination. After a short time, we reached the cable car tower. Enthusiastically, we got into an empty cable car. The view out of the cable car of the arrays of mountains protruding into the South China Sea was second to none. It was spectacular! The ships were like tiny dots sailing in the deep blue sea and the people looked like tiny little ants from high above. After that, we went to the crazy gallon. When I saw this ship, my legs trembled and said "Nooooooo! " But driven by curiosity, I got aboard the ship. "This is the most horrible game I have ever had!" I whined on board. 9 May 2020 On a beautiful morning, the sky was brilliant blue and the leaves rustled in the gentle breeze. The fresh morning air was crisp and cool. My father was going to teach me how to cycle today, so I was like a dog with two tails. I tentatively placed my legs on the pedal as my father held my bicycle firmly at the back seat. 4 May 2020 I have always liked birds, since the day I heard of those fantastic creatures that could soar through the skies. Normally, I can only see most of them in books and on television, or the ordinary ones flying around Hong Kong. Last Sunday,  I eventually had the chance to see many different species of birds. I was thrilled when my parents told me that they were taking me to the Wetland Park! After a short Light Rail Ride, we arrived at the gates of the Wetland Park. My parents and I took a photo near the Eco-maze. It was not long before I saw the tall wooden building. It was the birds hide. We walked into the building. When I looked through the telescope, I could take a closer look to all sort of birds. 1 May 2020 Last Sunday was my mother's birthday.  Because of the covid-19, we couldn't go out for dinner. My father and I decided to prepare a surprise dinner for my mother. We want to cook a meal that made my mother drool with envy. At afternoon, when my mother was out with her friends, we prepared the ingredients. A wonderful dinner cannot miss the desert, so I made the pudding and put it in the refrigerator. Next, I started to make the main dish, I put some "emian" and water in the pot and lit the fire. Then, I took out a king lobster and some shrimps from the refrigerator. I washed the lobster and shrimps. When everything was ready, I put the pan on the stove and started to fire the lobster "emian" . 27 April 2020 When I was being scolded by a prefect at recess，a boy with black skin and short hair stood up and said for me. "I can prove he doesn't run! 26 April 2020 I put on the safety halmet  that I need to  jump into the pulley perching on the top of the curvy slope. I had been queueing for a long time and I was very anxious to get started. I nodded at the instructor who was going to tell me how to control the pulley. 25 April 2020 Asmos stood between six other boys. He gripped the remote control in his hands. There were seven different boats in the water in front of them. The race was about to start. It was the first time the school had held a remote-controlled boat race. Soon, a whistle was blown. He pressed the green button on his control as hard as he could. His boat shot foward. The other six boats followed closely. They sped down on the water and screeched around the first bend. The spectators cheered. The boats sped arcoss the water. The war was about to start. At first, one boat overturned at a sharp turn, then a boat crashed into it. Asmos was a good driver. He turned his boat smoothly around the bend and used his powerful motor to splash the water on the other three boats. His boat and the last boat sped towards the finishing line. 24 April 2020 "Oh no! I'm late! I'm late! I'm late! Linda cried,  jumping out of the bed. She had somehow slept through her alarm once more.
